| #66 Posted 9 months ago | Reply | I do believe that the current caption idea was probably not a good idea. I have no problem with wanting to do something differently. The problem is inadvertantly going too far when trying something new with a result that removes the spirit of the original (extreme example: Batman movies: the change from Tim Burton to Joel Shumacher).
However, I also think that some people's reactions went too far. If you don't like it, fine, but there's no need to go rabid over what seems to have simply been a lapse in judgement. Sure, I don't give a crap about Halo, either (I never liked first-person shooters. The gameplay simply isn't fun for me.). But overreacting doesn't help. People make mistakes. Deal with it.

Since FORUMS provide the basic sustainance for life I guess being on a FORUM one can actually say "get a life" while on a FORUM. Hopefully the FORUM will also keep us dry, the FORUM will provide food and water, and the FORUM will give us all our physical, mental, and social needs whilst on the FORUM.

Jeez... As for the caption contest, I think he was right in saying that when it's a YGO pic, people just use YGO: TAS quotes anyway! And besides, he actually related it to YGO, I think that was very cool of him!

Fortunately, there's only one of this guy, and s/he/it is about the UN-sexiest thing that could even be considered remotely sexy (<-- which is a different category of UN-sexy than slime things and fuzzy bread molds).
