Discussion of the first zelda game for the DS will hereby commence. Phantom hourglss was all out a great game. I recommend it to anyone. It really surprised me that you do everything in the game with the stylus. EVERTHING. It was a really great game to me.

Don't have it... yet. Once I get money I'm totally gonna get this game.

I heard the puzzles are way to easy so I'm not going to get it. Also the stylus control probably ruins it.

It doesnt. I played a friend's version for a wee while and it works very well.

MINOR SPOILER ALERT!

If anything the stylus control makes the game way better. You can control where your boomerang goes, you can tap where you want to throw a bomb, you can even tap where you attack something or slam something with a hammer.

The one thing I didn't like about the game was the last boss. Not Gannondorf. Thank God. The last boss was Too easy.

The puzzles aren't that hard beacsue you're able to write stuff on your map which makes it easy to memorize stuff.

I'd prefer using the stylus for attacks/items and controlling Link with the D-Pad...

Great game but, personally, I'm not at all fond of the multiplayer...

Me neither... but when I get it it's definately not gonna be for multiplayer.

I hate that about modern games... it's like all games need to have multiplayer for a good score... But if they have tacked on ones to fill that necessity and they're not any good then people will penalise the game a lot for not having good multiplayer...

Yeah, it is an awesome game!
The only problem I have with it is the Temple of the Ocean King. You have to go back to it, over and over and over going a little farther each time. It just gets a little annoying after a while.
But other than that, it's awesome!

Excellent Game. I was really surprised for a hand-held game to be this good.

This game is just AWESOME! The controls were just total win. I'm still not finished with it though.

Phantom Hourglass was great. The controls were very good. I didn't really like the multiplayer much though, and the Temple of the Ocean king is just annoying. Other than that I'd recommend it to anyone.

i love the game but temple of the ocean king annoys the sh*t out of me. haha call me a wuss but the phantoms freak me out how you have to just like make sure they dont see you. sailing gets annoying too btw.

i actually really like the touch screen controls. its just when you are like holding a barrel and you want to walk somewhere but end up throwing it and stuff is when it gets annoying

It's a great game, but unlike other Zelda games, I find it extremely hard to get back into after completing it. I don't find the mini-games and finding Heart Containers/fairy spirit thingies quite as exhilarating and rewarding as other games.

I feel the same way. I don't know why I don't want to get into it again. I had such a great experience with it but I just don't wanna.

I loved Wind Waker (Phantom Hourglass's prequel) it was my favorite zelda game. So I thought Phantom Hourglass would be like it or better. I was Wrong. In WW there was tons of stuff you could do once you bet the game! PH....not so much, only 1 maybe 2 islands you can go to, while WW had around 30! The final fight was fun, but not as fun as the sword fight with Gannon

Wind Waker had so much stuff to do that you NEEDED a walkthrough to do it all. Phantom Hourglass didn't. And I didn't find the final fight in PH to be any good.

I personally love phantom hourglass, but it was a little too easy for a zelda game, it didn't take me long to beat it. plus I hate the multiplayer, why couldn't you actually fight people like link should be doing.

At first I like the game but it was too easy the ending made no sense at all, once you beat the game the ghost ship gets in the way which is really annoying. Trust me once you beat the game it gets boring, try Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword for the DS it was alot better for me than Phantom Hourglass
