Starting to see how it's the best game since Ocarina of Time. >_< (Also picked up World Ends With You while I was there. Thank you gift money. =D)

| #5 Posted 8 months ago | Reply | I still disagree with almost any game getting a perfect score, but this is pretty damn close. I say this as someone who hasn't really enjoyed a single GTA game since they went 3D.
There are still major control issues with this that should have lowered the score, but at least they've fixed the annoying loading issues from San Andreas. At least the cops seem to behave more realistically now and don't appear to have 360 degree x ray vision. |

Slight spoiler [ I just can't seem to find the right place to move to to shoot the guy that's struggling with Packie in time to take him out. ] If anyone has any advice on that one feel free to post, with spoiler tags obviously. |

Reviewers are well aware that nothing is perfect, but say that a 10 means that it's a game that's expanding it's genre as well as setting new expectations for games to come. GTA seems to fulfill that. |

The cover system and Over the shoulder view are the best yet. Shooting is as fun as hell, and the explosions look great.
The graphics are superb, and thats new for GTA. The water rippled a shimmered like no other, with realistic physics and spash effects.
The driving is fun too, as always.
And Niko is a so badass! He's a really cool, likable character, the best to come out of GTA yet. He's like an insane version of Borat! In the middle of fire fights, he mouths the enemies off as if they were boy scouts.
FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!
I just can't wait to see how this game turns out. |

I find some of the missions to be a bit challanging but usually after the 4th try, I get it done.. free mode is amazing!! I love running around Liberty City with 15 other people.. You just can\'t beat the cooky insane shit that takes place! |

| #21 Posted 7 months ago | Reply | You know what I said about the cops earlier, I take it back. They must have them set to be easier during the intial stages because I'm at the second safe house now and they're supermen once again.
I know it says the police will be alerted to your crimes if there are witnesses but I swear to god I've never known cops that respond and find you in a heart beat. Seriously are the pedestrians using psychic powers to call the cops because they certainly don't have time to use a phone and report the crime with that little time elapsing.
Also it seems a bit random on if the cops are even called, sometimes I'll steal a car in broad view of 100 people and nothing happens, other times I'll steal one in an apparently deserted back alley only to have the cops all over me in no seconds flat. Damnit Rockstar (not that they read this) sort out your frackin AI. |

I hope they release some sort of downloadable addon with more, cause all I pretty much did on GTA SA was spawn 50 tanks again and again. lol. |
