So this looks pretty good, but I'm not holding my breath. Sonic games have failed me too many times before for me to start trusting Sonic Team. Any thoughts?

Oh god this looks amazing!

I heard most of the game will be in a 2d format.

Ugh, honestly, I hate how the Sonic games have been lately, but going back is exactly what I DON'T want Sonic Team to do. They need a different direction.

This is the one being made by Bioware right? I sure hope they know what there doing. Of course, anything has to be an improvement, though I did like those Sonic Rush games for the DS.

No, you're thinking of Sonic Chronicles.

This one will be for the Wii, PS3, and Xbox

you know that won't happen, not until Mario dies, Zelda dies, Pkemon dies, Street Fighter dies, Final Fantasy dies, Video Games die, Media dies and then everyoen on the planet.

New trailer out. Still looks good, and my hopes are getting a bit higher.

Wow. I don't think I've ever seen Sonic move that fast. Though it looks like a lot of the game looks like Secret Rings.

I'm somewhat interested in it. Just hope they do something like warning you for the 3d, 2d change.

I think I'll be satisfied as long as there's more 2d then they're showing in the trailers. AND as long as the werewolf/overworld mechanics don't suck. Their gimmicks have had a tendency to be complete crap. (Shadow the Hedgehog, anyone?)

What I'm more interested in myself is how much the Wii and PS2 versions will differ from the videos available, with the loss of the Hedgehog Engine and Dimps creating the levels.

What is the Hedgehog Engine?

Sigh...if Sonic Team is making this game, I have some pretty low hopes here. Ever since Sonic Adventure, the games Sonic Team have made are becoming worse and worse. I hope Dimps is helping making it, because they do a lot better at games. (Sonic Rush anyone?) But for now, I shall be watching to see if will be good...

Dimps is only helping with the wii version, and even though sonic team is making this one, they've been trying to do it right for over 3 years now, so I'm pretty sure its safe to say that this game will be epic.

I really hope so...at least they are starting to realise how terrible they have been the past few years...

Nintendo Power says that their devoting a whole team into just making the Wii version. They say the Wii version will contain some things that aren't on the PS2, PS3, 360 versions

Good thing I just have a Wii. Just because it might have better graphics on other consoles, doesn't mean it's better. Graphics don't buy a game for me. It's gotta have more than that to impress me. (Besides, Sonic 2006 on the 360 had some good graphics, but it was an awful game)

And Sonic and the Secret Rings for the Wii was also a piece fo crap, so it don't matter. (but it WAS better than the 360, PS3 game) The gameplay will probably be different for all three conoles, full motion for the Wii, instead of triggeres, you turn right and left on the PS3 and then.....360 is just triggers.

Yeah I really hope so, although there are a bunch of people I know that say the wii version is gonna be crap, while the other ones will be amazing.

They are probably thinking graphic wise as Nintendo says the Wii version will be superior to the other versions.

Probably...but we are never sure...besides, I'm looking more forward to Sonic Chronicals than this game.
