| #31 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | | I took a 6 month break from the game to concentrate on exams, well those are over and I'm playing with a new Horde character on Laughing Skull. I'll have to take another break for holiday (can't take the game with me unfortunetly...) but still very much enjoying it at the moment. Although I am getting annoyed how it's with every day there's some new person who succeeds in pissing me off tremendously...whether it's a noob who won't listen to instructions or a level 50 + who thinks very highly of themselves. |

I did the exact same it just bores me plan and simple i like FPS games the best so find me a decent FRS MMO that people still actually play and ill be fine but as im a halo freak i just play halo CE online most of the day, dam halo 2 vista and dam my xbox live not working! |

| #38 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | lol i played 10 day trial and LOVED IT... then i realised it seemed like doing same thing over and over and over and over again... it was boring... i like guild wars alot better... but not story mode... just pvp... you dont need to really train... you make your character and go in and fight...its strategy rather then how long youve played :|

| #39 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | | WoW stole my ex-boyfriend and turned him into a robotic freak...and not the type of freak I pick to be my friend. I play it at times, but it can't take control of me. I even told him at the time we were going out that I wasn't letting myself get as addicted to WoW as he was/still is. It's so easy to stay true to that, because of all the evil people in WoW. Plus, all the good people are on the Horde. XD! And when I play the Horde, it seems awkward, because it's so quiet. XP... |

| #40 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | I've been in and out of WoW for a while, and my main problem is spending a lot of time running, and using an actual keyboard. I'm much more of a console gamer.
So, reasons I, t'would be much easier to use a gamepad.
As such, I fish out my USB 360 controller, and plug the ol' thing in. However, this now sadly means that I cannot change my camera with it.
So the question is this: does anybody know about a good dual analogue stick addon for WoW so I can use the right thumbstick to change the camera, or am I just dreaming?
I'll settle for limited control, but it would be nice..... |

| #49 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | Played for many many monthes (since a little after the creation of the Thorium Brotherhood server). I had a lvl 70 Warrior, lvl 60 Warlock, and several other characters in the 25-40 range. Very unimpressive given the amount of time I played, but I invested a very large amount of time roleplaying and messing around not leveling up (i.e. once spent 11 continuous hours running an entire guild, 4 by 4, through Scarlet Monastery Cathedral).
However, one day, I just quit. Not because I realized I had a horrible addiction that had dropped my grades from 'A's to 'C's simply by virtue of the fact I no longer did homework, because I was busy playing WoW. Not because I was developing a mild xenophobia and frequently went days without seeing the light of day. Not because I was broke from funneling money into Blizzard's pocket (since its hard to have a good job when you spend all your time on WoW). Not because my girlfriend broke up with me because I would rather play WoW than spend time with her. Nope; I quit because I had had as much fun as I wanted. It was fun- very fun, and now it wasn't. Like a show that has a fantasticly successful and entertaining first season then gets raped to death, turned inside out, has its limbs lopped off, and then zombified into horrible unlife, sometimes its just better to stop when the fun is over; nothing is forever.
Fortunately, I realized the previously mentioned vices, and am fully rehabilitated. Hopefully I'll have learned from this experience and won't get addicted to an MMO again. Which, I plan to get Warhammer: Age of Reckoning when it comes out. I hear its like WoW, only with a better story, more interactive quests, and balanced pvp. Chaos Marauder for the win. |
