Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person in the world apart from a few teachers who has read Moby-Dick and enjoyed it. I thought it was the best written novel I had ever read; it was extremely difficult, but it was an excellent read.

Has anyone else read or tried to read the book? Perhaps I will feel a little less alone in the world if there are other people... or perhaps this thread will make me feel even more alone...

Yeah, and we all know that the word "dick" is in the title. There is no need to turn this thread into a nest of unoriginal bad jokes on the title.

I read he whle book. It was a good read. (It was a mandatory read)

I love how Keequeg (god i forget how to spell) just over came his illness. The man just had something mre important t do then die.In the end nobody wins.
