The Grey Griffins Series?

| #1 Posted 1 month ago | Reply | If you havn't heard of it, its a series of books about a million heir 12 year old boy and his nerdy friends playing a childen's trading card game (That's right... a CHILDRENS TRADING CARD GAME PLAYED BY CHILDREN!, BLASPHEMY!) in which they battle monsters using 2 10 sided dice called Knuckle Bones (A total rip off from the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga on both the card games and the dice). Now for some reason the cards have come to life and have forged evil synticates to attempt to summon forth the ink written love child of Exodia, Satan, and Harry Potter. Although the kids don't use the cards to actually battle, they instead use them as clues to learn more about the monsters trying to kill them, and for some reason the cards always seem to come to life on the bad guys' side making this struggle pretty one sided (Like Joey trying to Duel Kaiba, or Bruce Wayne bitch slapping Dan Green.) So now we have 3 angsty teenagers with a bunch of children's trading cards trying to kill a giant black hulking monster whos is actually related to a long lost civilization where people killed each other with monsters and magic for lulz.
Does any of this seem familiar?
