For those of you not in the know (meaning, those of you not aware of) Paradise Lost is an epic poem by John Milton about Satan's fall from heaven and the rise of Adam and Eve. It is truly the finest work in the English language, next to Yugioh: The Abridged Series. Go out and buy it. If you like it, it has a sequel, Paradise Regained, by the same author.

| #2 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | I remember one of my bands, Draconian, quoting from John Milton. He wrote pretty descriptively, despite it being just narrowed down to a Puritan belief.
I'm not that crazy about Victorian poetry though, but I'm fine with it. I just like my Romanticism (a.k.a. one period and today) so much more, since I can understand it. |
