Dub Piece, Doug the Dub, and World's Finest. Anything of That's What She Said Productions. Unlike other non-scripted series, these guys are actually funny.
And they have Dan Cox who has more voices than LittleUK seriously. |

| #5 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | I think it's a little unfair to compare them to YGO:TAS. If they have any potential, you tend to miss it if your just comparing it to another series. That said, I do feel the whole idea, whilst alright at first as it helped several fandubbers reach popularity, is a little overused now (e.g. Transformers abridged, Resident Evil 4 abridged)...
Still that said these are my top 3:
Naruto abridged - Generally considered the best after YGO:TAS, and thats a fair statement. It's the most proffesional, with good mike and editing quality. The humour is great, though a little self dependant on it's own running gags. Still it mocks the series in the right places, and both the people who make provide excellent voices for the characters they mock.
FMA abridged - This came around just a bit after N:TAS, and whilst most people overlook it I see it as a decent series in a field of poor quality attempts. The first two episodes weren't that great, but they've definetly improved over time. The humour is classic and the voices, whilst not all great, are generally quite funny. It's a bit choppy in places, both editing and sound, but it's definetly better than a lot of the other crap out there. They actually just released a new episode a few days ago, which is probably the best yet: FMA: The abridged series episode 6
Saiyuki Reloaded abridged - Again a decent 'knock-off' if you will. I myself have never watched Saiyuki in any of it's incarnations before seeing this, but I still found it entertaining. The maker is actually a very skilled video maker so there's that proffesional feel to it. And like Little Kuriboh, though not to the same skill level, she's good at creating a series of different voices. |

| #6 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | Aside from YGO: TAS, I only liked (so far) a pokemon abridged series (though he doesn't call it that way) by a user named CaptnAwesomee- first episode is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xS5-gaikFiY, and there are 12 episodes + a movie (3 parts) total.
I think I'm gon' watch FMA abridged tho.. |

| #26 Posted 2 months ago | Reply | I like the Pokemon one that gets posted under the title "Polkamons" by SolarBlade00 (formerly SolBlade00). That's about it though.
Come to think of it, Trunacted Power Rangers (by TruncatedPR) is not so bad either; some of the humour is actually really good but some of the voicing is crap. Being live-action makes it a little awkward as well but I know that from personal experience; I occasionally do one based on one of the most hated seasons of Power Rangers (especially comparing it to its sentai counterpart that was very good). Mystic Force Abbreviated I tend to call it. |
