| #1 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | Okay, we'll try this again, 22 posts in total for last season, please try and beat it.
Talk, banter whatever, it's like a sports bar but to do with premiership football (soccer if you must). |

| #3 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | I expect now Jose Mourihno's made up Abromavich that Chelsea may be back on form again. Yes, I support CFC.
I expect West Ham may move down this season. They were lucky to not be this season. |

| #4 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | | I reckon Liverpool could make a serious challenge this year, now they've got a stronger side. I reckon Man U could win it again. Not sure what Chelsea will do. They've been fairly quiet over the transfer window, buying fewer big names. Then again Man U did that last season and it helped them. |

| #5 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | I would have to say that Tottenham Hotspur will gain a champions league spot for the 08/09 season (Berbatov is going to be on fire), but this is my predicted league table:
1) Chelsea
2) Man Utd
3) Tottenham Hotspur
4) Liverpool
5) Everton
6) Arsenal
7) Sunderland
8) Blackburn Rovers
9) Bolton
10) Newcastle
11) Aston Villa
12) Fulham
13) Portsmouth
14) Reading
15) Birmingham
16) Middlesbrough
17) Man city
18) Derby
19) West ham
20) Wigan
...yeah so that's what I think, I know a lot of people would disagree with it...oh well... |

| #6 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | | I could see it happening. Someone else I spoke to reckoned Spurs could challenge the top four. I'd also agree that Arsenal won't do as well without Henry, though Adebayor (sp?) looks like a good player for the future. |

| #7 Posted 1 year ago, in reply to post #6 by Me111 | Reply | | But you have to bear in mind that Arsenal haven't played Henry for most of last season anyway (due to injury). I don't think it is completely about Arsenal having a bad season, but other teams (like Spurs) having a excellent season. |
|
|
| #8 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | To be honest I can see the same top 4.
Any thoughts on Liverpool (Torres and Babel) or Man U (Nani, Anderson and Hargreaves) I can see it being between these two for top. Not that i'm ruling anyone out mind. |

| #12 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | Must say I'm surprised how many people think West Ham are gonna have a bad season. Having spent so much in players i think its unlikely, paticularly if they get another striker on board.
As a West Ham fan i don't think i could cope with another like last season.
Man U will win again (Damn you Tevez) and i think Fulham, Wigan and (As much as i hate to say it) Derby for the drop.
Arsenal will not make the Champions league |

| #13 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | Manchester United have had the worst start to there season in 15 years; in my opinion Chelsea will win the 07/08 season. Last season Manchester United had an excellent start to the season and Chelsea had a dreadful one, and that became decisive henceforth United's premier league title win, this season it's the other way round and I believe that once again it will be decisive based around that.
I dunno why I guessed that Man city would finish low, but after all the new players they brought, they're likely for UEFA |

| #19 Posted 1 year ago | Reply | Arsenal have played better without Henry don't you think?
Somehow I doubt that Arsenal are comming 6th XD
As for who's going to win? Well i'm an Arsenal supporter, but I have no idea who's going to win overall, I mean anything can happen with football. |

I'm a sports fan but I recently lost a tenner on a bet that Man City could beat West Ham 2-1. I also had a cover bet on a draw...you can tell I was disappointed. What about you lot? |
