But hey, if this is the best you guys could do, it should be good enough for everyone. Better than anything the rest of us could have done...
Oh, and I was wondering why the site was being super slow that one night everything crashed (last Wednesday, I believe). At first I thought it was my computer hating the website because my Internet was working fine on all the other sites I was going to, but then I looked the next day and felt my heart sink just a little as I saw the news.  |

I can't tell you if they're able to come back, since I don't know the inner workings of the site, but I have a sneaking suspicion that they aren't banned now. What I know, however, is that they will only come back if they know that they can.

There are cached pages, images of web pages, on Google, on other sites too I bet... Wouldn't there be some way to put the site back together to the way it was using these things? |

Another forum I frequent last summer rebooted the entire forum so everything was going to be lost and upgraded, but there were ways to visit the old forum still.
It also helped that we were warned weeks ahead of time that this was going to happen. And that the admins had full control of what was going on instead of the server being evil to everyone. |
