Rooster Teeth has taken RvB and made it into something of epic proportions. Each episode of Reconstruction has been better than the last. They've somehow retained the series' original humour, and added a plot that's kept us fans wanting more.

I just finished watching episode 16 (If you haven't seen it yet, watch it now. Seriously. Go!) and I'm still recovering from the "twist".

Holy Crap [ Church is the Alpha ]

I honestly didn't see that one coming. And that's saying a lot given that I can usually figure out twists before they happen.

[ Now I'm wondering, if Church is the Alpha ... then who or what is Tex? ]

I'm going to assume you're not posting in this thread just for the sake of posting.

As such:

Firstly, if you found it boring, why didn't you just stop at episode 1? Why episode 40?
Secondly, RvB: Reconstruction is quite different from the original RvB. Note the thread title. So, taking this into account, what's your opinion of RvB: Reconstruction? Is it better? Worse? Why?

I watched it because when I was young and I thought I should try it again, 1 was a pilot so I said to myself 'give it one more try. I watched the first episode is it action or comedy?

Reconstruction is both an action and comedy and they've even introduced some sort of drama element. Unlike the original RvB, there's a lot more action and drama. But, don't get me wrong, it's not suddenly all serious, the writers have cleverly put comedy where it needs to be. There's serious moments, yes, but there's hilarious ones too.

My description is sort of confusing but, to anyone that's seen an episode or two, that'd make perfect sense. Watching the original helps give context, but its not really necessary to enjoy this series.

Yes you HAVE to watch seasons 1-5 before even thinking about watching Reconstruction
And if you still dont find it funny or whatever...then...something is wrong with you :D

The last episode of Reconstruction was out for awhile, but I finally got a chance to see it last night.
I have to commend Roosterteeth for a great ending, although the series was short.

[ The director confirms that an AI is based off of a human mind ... and that his name is Leonard Church ]

Luckily, there's a new series in the work featuring the Reds and, possibly, Church. So, let's look forward to that.
