So, Joss Whedon (Of Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Astonishing X-Men, Toy Story and Titan A.E. fame) got bored during the writers strike and came up with his own musical made for the internet!
Starring Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion
So far just Act 1 is up but its completely brilliant and the production quality for a internet show is amazing!
And yes I am aware that this is not exactly a "Television" show but there really is no other classification for something like this.
Act 2 comes out tomorrow.
Anyone else following this? |

I'll have to wait until tomorrow for Act 2, though. |

The last cut when he is in his normal clothes in the blog and sings "i won't feel a thing" or something to that effect shows his true feelings... in that all he really wanted in the end was to be noticed by the girl he liked and nothing is as good now she is gone, almost by his own hand. ] |

The line "Here lies everything, the world I wanted at my feet" refers to both Penny herself (what Billy wanted) and a dead body (what Dr. Horrible wanted). From then on, Dr. Horrible pretty much takes over, and Billy is left behind, broken. ] |

| #13 Posted 4 months ago, in reply to post #12 by Taekwondodo | Reply | | I saw Billy and Dr. Horrible as two different people, myself. It's more Billy all through Act I. Horrible starts to assert himself at the beginning of Act II, in On the Rise, though it's still Billy, at least until the end, when Horrible pretty much takes over (see Brand New Day). This lasts up through the beginning of Act III, even into Slipping, except that last verse, when Billy comes back with his doubts and hesitation. [ Once Penny dies, though, Billy mostly dies with her, leaving an empty shell for Dr. Horrible to finally take over and get everything he wanted, up until the very last scene, where we see Billy, broken. ] |
