I mean, how many people actually enjoyed Yu-Gi-Oh? I for one couldn't help but like it but often scoff at the events. Thank god for the abridged series... or maybe just thank LK.

I liked the 4kids version then after a while realised it sucked and i haven't managed to watch the japanese version yet...don't think i can be bothered to be honest but for now TAS will suffice

I really enjoyed watching it in the morning before school. It was like a ritual: Wake up, get washed and dressed, make breakfast, switch on Sky One and watch Pokemon and Yugioh. Perfect mornings that could only be made better if the shows were The Adventures Of Pete and Pete and Thundercats :P.

I do enjoy watching GX too though. The dialogue is very LK-ish.

Duelist Kingdom was pretty terrible, but Battle City was actually pretty good; Enter the Shadow Realm (which is a stupid name, it was in a virtual world) was awful in my opinion, apart from the BC finals; I never finished Waking the Dragons, because it started getting more and more ludicrous as it went on; How many others were there after that? I completely stopped watching it after about the middle of WtD.

GX is decent. Something to pass the time until Naruto on saturdays, at least. Kind of hard to follow if you miss any of it though.

I like it, it's pretty cool. Even better than the original old one, although I lovith Yami Yuugi's original voice.

I liked Yuugioh when it was out. I barely found out recently that Pegasus ish in Yu-Gi-Oh: GX. -_- No one told me.... I loved the show more than the game. It just seemed to be one of those games where you spend a buttload of money on cards and lose interest in a few months.

I loved this stuff when I was younger. Than I found better things to occupy my mind. Now I'm back here.

I used to like the dub when I was younger.

I'd watch the original but I can't find subbed yugioh.

Nope, don't like the dub, subs or manga. Just the abridged series (and Bakura)

I watched it all the time when it was cartoon network, and I was what 12, 13? I thought Duelist Kingdom was awesome (the dubbed one of course) Haha. Of course back then I barely knew what anime was and never really had anything to judge it off of.

I've never watched the Japanese version either, and I stopped watching it after Battle City, because I didn't like it. My friend has the manga and she says she likes it. Of course she had a very weird taste in anime if you ask me.

Do Iike it, now though? No. Gah, I hate GX to. A flippin guy ripped his necklace off just to show it to someone. O_o "There now you saw my necklace, but thats the last time ever because I break it."

I actually loathed Yu-Gi-Oh!, until I was introduced to the Abridged Series.

By seeing an ardent fan putting so much effort into making such a wild parody of the show, I guess that I finally realized that YGO is indeed unbearably ridiculous, and evidently not to be taken seriously. I was completely wrong trying to look for a consistent storyline, well-built characters and unexpected plot twists, and so I stopped doing that. It suddenly turned out to be a highly amusing show. Now I'm proud to say that have a considerate amount of YGO manga issues sitting neatly in my shelves, their pages stained and bent due to excessive use.

So thank you, LK, for introducing me not only to your brilliant work but also to a whole new world of trashy mainstream entertainment. Because life is so much more fun if you stop making sense.

i don't like the series, but i am compelled to watch it
...i guess my inner-geek just likes shouting at the screen: 'THAT MOVES ILLEGAL!' or 'thats been banned since forever!'
...
i also like applying random quotes from the abridged series when i see the chance n_n

I watched some, but not all, of every story arc.

Personally, the overall finale (Yugi vs. Yami) was the best part. Between Battle City and the end, most of it was pointless and not worth watching.

Was obsessed with it through the entirety of high school... My friends and I used to draw stick-figure Yu-Gi-Oh fan comics making fun of the episodes and ridiculous fan fictions we read. I've only seen a handful of episodes in the original Japanese, and wanted to buy the uncut DVDs before they went out of production... any one know whether those'll continue or not? Or is it a lost cause?

I use to watch YGO when I had teh freakin' channel to watch it..XD i stopped after Valon and Joey dueled.[then again...I skipped around a bit]

Can't say I'm a YGO series geek,but I did enjoy a bit...but then 4kids...ugh!~shivers~

GX,I just watch the english dub for the heck of it!I always watch the japanese version!
But I can't help but say "Dang it,why is 4kids using LittleKuriboh's material on GX now?Is it some kind of tribute?!?DX"

I loooooooooooooove the Japanease verson and absolutly hate the 4kids version.
They took everything that actualy was silly and made it sillyer.

Everything deep and insightful from the Japanease version was erased by 4kids and they edit everything like they´re more affected of blood and alcohole more than the kids probably are.

The best thing about Yu-Gi-Oh! in general for me was that it introduced me to manga for the first time wich now is my favorite artsyle.

And off course let me see, understand and laugh at Yu-Gi-Oh! Tas.

I liked Yugioh, I watched and played the games and had a bunch of cards. (XD I still do have cards.) Then I sorta got distant from it but now I am getting back into it, borrowed the manga from my friend.

It was my favourite show for the longest time, and it wasn't until the start of the Doma arc, or Awaking the Dragons, that I lost interest. The Battle City arc is like, the best one, then season one.
I want to watch the Millenium World arc really badly! It seems pretty cool. I think it's available on DVD, but I'm not sure. You can get season one in a DVD set, right? I just want to buy the whole 4Kids! series, even if it's pretty slaughtered.
I never saw the first series, but I'd love to. Screw the rules, I have green hair!

i saw both the English and Japanese for Yu-Gi-Oh...

and i have to say, both are ridiculous, but that's what makes them so fun to watch! the Japanese has better attempts at storyline and dialog, but the ending is still the same...

they're trying to save the world... by playing a card game... it's the same, no matter what the language...
^_^ but i like it~!

I lost interest in it a few years back, but back in elementary my friends and I would usually take turns putting on a red bathrobe and a white towel and doing impersonations of Drunk!Pegasus (HELLO YOOOOOGI-BOY!!!!)
