em.. yeah ^^U hi there, I'm ShadowGM, I'm a big YuGiOh and YuGiOh: TAS fan (otherwise I wouldn't be here, now would I?)

what to say about me? I'm a girl, I'm 18 now, I live in France much to my dismay and I love writing (I believe you can make a good story even when you invent original characters... hey! not every OC is a Mary-sue!.. oh well, at least in my case I do my best...), YuGiOh is my main fandom.

I like yaoi, but I won't go and bitch at you if you don't, I like to discuss things calmly.
Please be patient if I make any mistakes ^_^U I live in France, so I speak french, but strangely enough, my mother language is spanish... U I'll stop ranting now.

Welcome to Hell U...

... Godamn... today I had to go to university to get my schedule... today was the first day of my life I took prozac U..

Just kidding about the prozac thing ^_^U but I really was close to it. This schedule thing was a complete mess!! If you're reading this grab a drink or something, cause I'm gonna rant for a while, and try to explain to you the mysteries of scheduling in my university.

If you wanna leave it's now or never...

BAM! You're trapped! welcome to Shadow's ranting place!

Let's start from the beginning shall we? I woke up this morning at 6 o'clock, you know, to get ready and stuff. I wasn't in a really good mood, but I thought 'oh well, I can always sleep a little in the bus, and it won't take very long, I'll be back home to prepare lunch ^_^'. We obviously received a letter to warn us there would be the inscriptions and all, but the letter said it would start at 9 o'clock and finish at 10h30!!!!

Do you think it did?

HA!

First, the teachers who were going to take care of our schedules (first year of english license) were late... U 20 minutes late. Ok, no worries, we can handle that. We needed to pass in alphabetical order, first all the A's, then the B's and so on. My last name begins with M, so I knew I was going to wait a while.

When the clock indicated 10h30 we weren't even at the letter F. That's when people started to worry. I was talking with some guys, that are obviously going to be my classmates. Time went by and we began to wonder what the hell took so long inside that damn room.

It was way past eleven when we began to understand: this was probably some kind of test. A selection. A way to get rid of the weak. The mischivious creatures we called teachers were probably enjoying themselves behind a screen, laughing their asses off as they saw yet another soon-to-be-student break down in sobs and scream "I wanna go home!!". The plot being discovered, we started looking for the cams. Commando style. That kept us busy for 15 glorious minutes.

When we didn't find the cams, we started to look for an axe... you know, the ones that sometimes are there just in case there's a fire or something like that? Well we didn't find one. And so our plans to reenact The Shinning were ruined. We needed to do something, to keep us from breaking down, from laughing hysterically and running naked on the campus, from viciously torturing that cute little squirrel that was looking through the window and mocking us! (I swear it was!)

If we showed weakness THEY would have won.

Time kept passing by, and we glared at the lucky bastards who were finally called, and entered the room dancing and singing with joy.

But well, eventually my turn finally arrived. A little past twelve o'clock (you'll notice we are far far away from the promised end at 10h30...). I entered the room, ready to kill the first person that even twitched at me. There had been rumors that some groups were full, and so the schedules we had prepared were probably going to be changed, and therefore we wouldn't have the classes we wanted at the time we wanted. The mere thought of re-thinking everything again made my blood boil.... that means I wasn't a happy camper.

I was more like the boy-scout/soldier bear of The Happy Tree Friends. You know, the schizo one that slaughters every living thing on his path.

Making a long story short, I had to rewrite most of my schedule for the first semester. I was lucky enough for the schedule of the second semester being left relatively the same as I had thought it. I wouldn't have been so pissed off if the ones taking all the good groups and timetables were the ones who were repeating their first year! Wouldn't it be more logical if we, the newbies, got to chose our timetables before them?! ugh...
I'll have to do with what I've got. Getting up at 5 in the morning to catch the seven o'clock bus and arrive at the campus at 8 to just attend a single hour of class (the ONLY hour of the day) kinda bugs me off, but I can manage. I'll work at the library or something the rest of the day, I'll read, write entries for the blog, work on my fics, maybe even study (that would useful, wouldn't it?). No problem. The real problem will come on Mondays: my last class finishes an hour after the last bus departed. I kinda wonder how I'll go back home... I would like to sleep on a bed and not under a bridge you know? I really hope I'll find a solution, 'cause I can't pop up in the dorms and say "adopt me please!" making puppy eyes. And I don't have any friends living in Albi (the city where my uni is).

It was 13 o'clock when I managed to get out of there with a complete schedule, I ran like mad to catch my bus that left at 13h15, almost lost it and arrived home way too late to make lunch, my mom came back from work and had to eat a sandwich because I couldn't make proper food on time. When she left I collapsed on my bed and fell asleep to wake up at 7 in the afternoon only because my little sis arrived from school, I talked with her a while because she too had had a bad day and realized that tomorrow I have my japanese classes and that I haven't done my homework which is kinda long, I realized that when I opened my notebook. So I just stopped by to update my blog. I promised I would do it daily and besides since I can't drop by on the forum to say hello it's a way to be with you all a little.

Tomorrow I'll be able to be in the forum, so I'll se you all then. Sorry I couldn't talk to you, I really need to learn to manage my time U...

See you later on Shadow's ranting place! ^_^/
