Caption Contest
So you all have heard of Blaydrix's YuGiOh 5Ds Fandub, right?
In order to make the forum more lively, I came up with the idea to have a caption contest! So please join the forums and just have a lovely good time so it can attract more attention to the forums and make it more lively.

Hello members of YGOTAS DOT COM.
The other day I received a personal message via YouTube about a competition this person is hosting about designing stylish clothing for Candybar Dolls through eLouai.com. So I checked out the website and the contest seems very interesting, however, it doesn't seem like it's gotten very advertised, so I figured I'd do him a little favor and help out.
For those of you who don't know, a Candybar Doll looks like this:
In order to make one of these dolls, you have to go to eLouai.com and click on Candybar 5 (the girl version, since the rules state that you may only use female dolls, which is fine by me because the male dolls are much too girly and not as fun to make). It also helps if you have a little expertise on at least MS Paint; something more like Photoshop would be much more helpful but Paint is surprisingly helpful when dealing with Candybar dolls as well.
So I strongly encourage you to enter and give it a shot if you have any editing skills and/or you like to make Candybar dolls. Just go to this website for all the details:

The rules seem pretty clear to me so if you have any questions feel free to send me a message, or you can directly contact the creator via YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/user/twoweirdos and send him a message. Tell him you were informed by SailorStarfire07, just in case he gets confused. =D

PS. Almost a year ago I got bored and decided to make a video featuring eLouai dolls, and I honestly don't mean to brag, I really don't, but I think they're pretty, and you may or may not agree but I prefer the dolls to look something like this: My eLouai Dolls

So I will be working as a cook at a kid's camp without Internet connection until the 2nd. But since Breaking Dawn comes out that day For the remainder of that weekend I'll mostly be reading that book, sleeping, and eating.
Excuse me if there are any typos on here; I'm typing without my contacts and I already packed my glasses really deep into my bag...

Because going away is pretty much what I need before my life becomes hectic again with summer classes, rehearsal, and more working.
SO I will not be online for 2 weeks, basically. I am coming back home on Saturday the 21st but I doubt I'll have too much time to check up on anything considering that I came home so I could go to my boyfriend's graduation party and whatnot, you know, have a social life pretty much. I could take my laptop up but I'd have to drive 20 minutes to Wendy's just to get Internet and gas prices are too high for that one. Plus I should be spending my time by the lake with family and whatnot instead of taking advantage of technology like back home; it's a vacation from all that stuff too. Sucks up too much time...
So you kids have fun while I'm gone!! I'll be back on the 27th.

So gcar pretty much told me I was the president of this fanclub. So here we are. Being a fanclub.
We will start doing fanclub-ish stuff when we have people.

Thanks to Google's technology with cached links and whatnot, I was able to recover my fangirl blog, which I thought was forever lost in cyberspace. But here it is again. Enjoy.
See, when I first joined here, I didn't think of people coming against me because of my fangirlism displayed in my screenname. I sheltered on this other forum where I was actually taught that fangirlism can be a good and fun thing, and nearly forgot about the crap that many, many fangirls do and how much of it is thrown at them. For good reason, obviously, but there are good fangirls out there, and I can prove it to you.
In the Rate the Username thread, someone gave me this comment:
I'm not really fond of fangirls. They're just like groupies for characters, but with strange ideas.
See, that upsets me because I am being stereotyped just because this person ran into horrible demonic fangirls in his past. Here's how I responded:
I honestly wish Bakura didn't have such a huge fanbase. Then people might actually believe that I like him for his character and not just because he's a pretty boy (though I must admit, that's what got me started, then again I was, what, 12? I'm 18 now).
So how can you call me a groupie when I wish there wasn't such a huge group of people that loved him?
I remember back in my Ron Weasley obsession days (which was... a few months ago, I admit), I decided that I should join a Facebook group dedicated to him. I looked and looked and looked, but then I felt embarrassed joining any of them because they all seemed so juvenille and not consisting of any profound reasons for liking him in the first place. I wanted to make my own group, I don't think anyone would join not because nobody out there likes Ron for his character, but because many who do probably don't consider themselves fangirls and the ones who do will join other groups instead. Besides, I only have one other friend who's as fangirlish as I am, but she obsesses over obsure emo bands whereas I fangirl over fictional characters (and Rupert Grint... )
I felt the same way while I was in my Rupert Grint phase. I saw this forum dedicated to him, and I even joined, but after 5 minutes of being a member, I felt really stupid for joining and haven't been on there since. The fact that he's a celebrity, a real person, was also a bit of a turnoff for me. If by any stroke of luck he ever knew I existed, I wouldn't want him to know me as some other groupie who thinks he's hot.
So yeah, even though I call myself a fangirl, I don't like being part of a huge crowd of fangirls... of course I'll speak to other Bakura fans, I just don't like feeling like I'm just part of another crowd of girls. So I make myself as much of an individual fan as possible.
And if I ever do something as fangirlish as writing a self-insert fanfiction, I'll actually make it good. But I might want to finish watching the rest of the series first, and maybe by that time I'll have moved onto some other guy to obsess over. I'll always consider myself a fangirl of all my favorite male characters, but I like to have my focus on one of them at a time.
Haha, maybe you all should just call me a fanwhore. xDD
