| #24 Posted 1 year ago in Super Mario Galaxy Review | | 3...2...1...BLAST OFF!!!

I reserved this game. I got it on the first day (which was the day after due to shipping) and got a cool Collectors Coin! It's an awesome game. Spectacular Level Design, Great Gravity Effects, Marevelous graphics, and the adorable Mario Charm, this has to be the best Mario games I've played as well as one of best games I've ever played.
It starts off as usual. Mario gets off his day-job (assuming he has one separate from the plot) and get's a message from Peach saying she has a message for Mario. as soon as you see the Mushroom Kingdom you can see the spetacular graphical achievement on the Wii. The Wii is bothered about not having good graphics, especially since whenever screenshots are put on the Web they look horrible for some reason, but once you actually see it, it looks phenomenal.(this is the same case with Metroid Prime 3). Also much like Metroid Prime 3, you will get a Wii Update immediately after you insert the disk and go to the disk channel. While I don't know what it is exactly I can only assume it's giving the Wii a steroid shot and saying "Your Graphics Processor is gonna hurt ALOT after this..." Anyway, While Mario to dreaming of getting lucky with Peach that night on the way there, the Mushroom Kingdom is attacked by, who else, Bowser, and his...Pirate Ships?! O well we don't play this game for the intense story do we? He literally abducts the castle by ripping it from the ground and using the ships to lift it into space...where they can breathe? Remember, Sephirex, it's Mario game, keep focused! After they take They blast Mario off the castleand while you'd think he'd fall to his jumping, mustacheoed death, he ends up on a planet to catch bunnies, meet star creatures called Luma, and ride on the Comet Observatory where he meets a slightly Peach looking Princess named Roselina who the Lumas follow. I think he should stick with Rosilina, I doubt she gets Kidnapped as much if not more than Mokuba does, like Peach.
Like any Mario game you have the go rescue Peach by going to different worlds. But now it is different, the worlds are now Galaxies and Planets. The levels now go from planet to planet within a certain galaxy. The Level Design is beyond great. You can go either direction on the planet even upside down. The controls move with the gravity, which is awkward at first but easy to get used to. The level graphics are also great. Everything is so nice and detailed. The water looks alot more good and detailed than in Sunshine, even though the water graphics in that game were great. The puzzles and platforming are at a good level of difficulty usually. Some decently hard, some easy, some normal. When you get a hard one it's quite satifying. It also looks amazing when Mario flys from Planet to Planet. While it does look a little wierd the first few times theres no denying how cool and epic is looks.
The Controls are great. All your favorite Mario platforming action is all here. It's easy to see that both the Platforming and the Controls have been tweaked to perfection. You jump with the A Button and Spin by shaking the Nunchuk. The Wii Remote's pointer is a blue star that sometimes is hard to see or notice with the beautiful and vibrant level environments. The pointer's star, however, can help you collect colorful Star Bits, which you use to feed some of the Lumas at times, and shoot at enemies. By pointing the star and pressing the B Button you can shoot a Star Bit to stun an enemy(took me a while to figure out what the B Button did). The only compaint is that sometimes it's just a little bit inaccurate but since it's mostly forgettable you may not use it much. You can spin by shaking the Wiimote, and you will definately will be using the spin attack since you need it to solve several puzzles and stun/defeat enemies and use some suit abilities. My only complaint with the spin is that sometimes it knocks the Nunchuk a little loose, and while it's still in the Wiimote, the game doesn't sense it and can sometimes make it malfunction. A + Z Buttons(in midair) does a ground pound. The controls are very easy to get used to and don't try to show off the motion controls of the Wii which is a pitfall to some games on the Wii.
Dispite being in space, all your favorite classic Mario characters are all here. Koopas, Goombas, Bowser Jr., and, surprisingly, the Magic Koopa! Others make an appearance as well, including Luigi who has a Haunted Mantion fetish, and there are a bunch of new faces and features, including new suits. The suits give Mario abilities. There's Fire Mario, Ice Mario, Boo Mario and the comically silly-looking Bee Mario. It's funny to see Mario in a Bee Suit. Bee Mario seems to be the only suit that stays on until u hit get it or hit a hazard(water), although I wouldn't know since I haven't finished at the time(I'm about 85% done). Another new feature is the music. While I was a bit skeptical to orhestrated music in more Nintendo games since they announced it for Brawl, I'm now looking up on that idea since it works so great in this game. Most of the music in Galaxy is orchestrated and it works very well. It gives a sort of epic feel sometimes.
Overall this is yet another Killer App for the Wii. Making up for the good, but greatly dissapointing, game that was Super Mario Sunshine. There are a bunch of great games for the Wii, but this has to the best so far in my opinion. I'd like to see the next Super Mario game to top an epic game like this.

| #23 Posted 1 year ago in Ben 10...The Live Movie!? | | Yes, the apocolypse has come, we're all gonna die. Yes, they have actually got the balls to go and make a Ben 10 Live Action Movie. I haven't seen an idea this stupid since the Aquaman game. I saw this on an internet ad with the person playing Ben on it and my first reaction "No...You have got to be F***ing kidding me!" While I think Ben 10 is a great, great show as a cartoon this has "FAIL" written all over it. I saw a photo of Heatblast and I was like "What the F***..." I don't want to even watch it, I know it will be outragously bad, but I want to see just how freakin cheesy it is.
For those of you who'd like to see what I'm talking about, go here: http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/tv_shows/promotion_landing_page/ben10/index.html |

I made a special Mii several months ago (I MADE it not downloaded it) and it's my favorite. Please take a look at it on your Wii if you have time, it's Entry Code is 0610-5279-4487. I won't tell what it is, it's a surprise! Anyway what Miis have YOU made? If you've uploaded it what's it's code? |

| #20 Posted 1 year ago in Megaman ZX: Advent | | | It's an OK game, not as good as the first or the Zero Series. But I HATE the voice acting in this game! It's terrible. It's like it was done by 4Kids or something! |

| #19 Posted 1 year ago in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 | | | It's the newest Gundam series. I love Gundams and I was annoyed by SEED (The best moment I can recall from SEED was when Flay died and I laughed my head off). This new Gundam seems like a New, more Next-Gen version of Gundam Wing and I loved Gundam Wing. Has anybody else seen it? |

| #18 Posted 1 year ago in If You Can Be A Bender Which Bender Would You Be? | | I would be an Airbender or an Earthbender. I'd be an Airbender...As long as I don't have to go bald and dress like Aang. Earthbender is my second choice because it's awesome too. Of course I'd also be BENDER |

| #16 Posted 1 year ago in Video Help | | I'm making a video and it's done. It's completely perfect running in Windows Movie Maker (besides the occasional freezing) but when I "Save to My Computer" and make the video file, half the scenes are screwed & glitched. The other scenes and the music are good though. Does anyone know how to fix this perplexing glitch problem?!
P.S. I also posted this in the Help Forum, but I realized nobody ever goes there...
