Zuda Webcomics

DC is trying something new: searching for fresh talent by holding monthly webcomic contests. All it takes is for you to sign up, vote for your favorite strip, and view it (multiple times count). At the end of the month, all ten comics are tallied by up view, favorites, and votes. The winner receives a full year's worth of DC contract.... to, uh, you know, do the strip for a year. All of the First Years are coming up on their 60 pages, and most are getting renewed or are already renewed.

So if you want to support new, fresh, and vibrant writers and artists in an otherwise stale industry, read, participate, let your voice be heard.

(oh, and if you do sign up, vote Vic Boonde for August. Unless you don't want to. But do.)

Normally, I harbor hatred for horror remakes, but at least this one was taken before Stephen Sommers could land his hands on it.

(Comments appreciated fully - also on YouTube so the other actors can see)

What would happen if there was a superhero team as into superheroes, technology, and old sci-fi television as you? Yes, introducing the Geek Patrol, five low-profile superhumans dedicated to saving L.A. from disaster- as well as picking up the latest Superman and debating transporter physics online. When their leader, Epic, supposedly dies at the hands of The GM, leader of the nefarious Nerd Battalion- consisting of Cosplay, MMORPG, and others- five years after the teams break-up, our heroes must return home to a reunion, with a documentary film crew along for the ride, hoping to find out what really lies beyond the mask. The team- Yorick, Dustin Starcore, Captain All-Star, Foureyes, and The Trekkie- must learn to reconcile their differences if they are to truly bury their leader, their past.... and a new emerging threat.

Coming soon. Actually, sooner than you think. Kroze and I have been working on STD for over a year, shooting for a month, and then taking a break of three months. Well, one month that turned into three. We have five scenes left to do. We're thinking of doing a release over the net, although we also want to produce a DVD and submit to festivals. Check back next year for a DVD. They take time. Although, what the hell would we put on it besides an audio commentary and outtakes?

YGO:TAS Forum Rules and Regulations

1) Be respectful of other members. Joking and teasing a little towards users now and then is fine, but outright trolling and inflammatory remarks are not. This would include making it your personal vendetta to take someone down for their religion, race, and the like.

2) No spamming. This includes advertising your site, roleplay, and other such nonsense. This also means posting topics in their correct forums, and not making the same topic in multiple forums. The only place where this is allowed is the Fluff Forum
2A) The Fluff forum is meant for users to really sit back and enjoy themselves. However, posts that are totally nonsense are not allowed, such as posts containing nothing but "Hi (name)! *glomps*", or generally treating it like a chat room, with posts such as "I'm here!" or "I have to get off." We have an IRC room for general chat. Also note that post count does not increase when you post in this board.

3) Do not argue with forum staff after they have performed an administrative action of some kind. If you feel your topic was wrongly locked, or someone was wrongly banned, a PM sent to the moderator who performed the action asking why it was done is acceptable. Making new topics on the boards about how the moderator was a jerk is not.

4) No backseat moderating. The moderators are selected because they are believed to best be able to do that job. If you're not a moderator, there's a reason for it. Don't throw around authority you don't have. Reporting posts to a moderator via PM, however, is not only fine, it is also highly recommended.

5) Only one account for user. We do know who's who, and can easily figure out when someone is using clone accounts.
