This day, in 1985, at a hospital in Rockville, Maryland, in my mother's womb, my heart rate started going down. The doctors were worried that I wouldn't make it and thus ordered a C-section. And thus, I was brought into this world.
Now, 23 years later, I'm still alive and kickin'.
The sucky part about it is that it's smack dab in the middle of the week! So I still had to go to class and whatnot. Which, actually, wasn't all THAT bad. During my lunch break I went out with my dad and uncle for sushi. It was delicious. And tonight I'm going to a fancy restaurant with my mother and a couple of friends. I have received a few birthday presents, but I'd prefer to share them in a different journal.
