I'm short, pale, and somewhat furry.
And Canadian. Yeah, that's always good to include...so...what else then?
Oh! And I like the Yugioh show and the abridged series. Yes. And that about concludes the wonder that is me. |

I have a mouse-like creature living in my home. Not of my choice, of course.
I have caught sight of him only a few times, out of the corner of my eye. Scampering rodent, missing half a tail and ears, or they are tiny. I think that's a haiku right there. How profound. I'll see if I can fit the fact that it runs head first into walls and poos about the place into the next poem.
Today I purchased a "live mousetrap", in an effort to catch him unharmed and then hopefully transfer him to a new home, far away from my own. I have already placed a few crackers on the floor, to lull him into a false sense of security thinking that saltine crackers appear out of thin air. He appears to like them. I have since placed some peanut butter (Jif brand, no less!) on the crackers. It is recommended that peanut butter be used in the live traps. I thought that this would be a good way to find out if he likes peanut butter, or has a nut allergy I was not previously aware of. So far the peanuty crackers remain untouched. Perhaps I should have opened my wallet more and bought Nutella, but I was worried that the nutty-chocolatey mix would be too much for him to handle and he'd run about the place in a suger-induced frenzy.
I will keep you updated as to how this all pans out.
Oh, and don't think that the irony of the situation is lost on someone with the username of kittyjane.
