| #5 Posted 1 year ago in 2Pac vs. Biggie | | Widely acclaimed as the two greatest rap artists, they were famous for a feud as a result of 2Pac sleeping with Biggie's wife. This is where you can talk about your opinion about these artists and more.
Personally, I like 2Pac better than Biggie. |

| #3 Posted 1 year ago in Everything Is Illuminated | | It's a really good and sad movie. If your interested in seeing something about the anti-Semetic, devastaing effects of the Nazi's during WWII, I suggest this movie (especially if you are Jewish or Ukrainian). Whether you are doing a report, reliving your heratige, or ar the King/Queen of sad movies, this movie is for you. You won't enjoy what you see though, but in the end it's still a good movie.
For those who haven't seen it, it's about this guy named Jonathan who is searching for the person who supposedly saved his grandfather, Sefran, from the Nazi's when they lived in Ukraine. He hooks up with an anti-Semetic translator named Alexander (although he becomes Jewish at the end of the movie) and his grandfather, a blind guide with a "seeing eye bitch named Sammy Davis Jr. Jr." (yes, after the famous singer), from a touring company that reunites people with their relatives lost during World War II. They are setting out to find a village named Trachimbrod. All they have is a yellowing photograph of Jonathan's grandparents in the village.
After a very rigid search they find out that the village was destroyed by the Nazi's, and there were only two survivors. The first was named Auguistine, the sister of the supposed savior of Sefran. She has been living in fear of a Nazi attack (she didn't know the war was over, she was too afraid to leave the village). She is the gardner of the graves of all the 1024 Trachimbroders that died.
The second survivor was Alexander's grandfather, that put aside his Jewish heratige in fear and hate after his best friend died at the hands of the Nazis. In the end, Alexander's grandfather commits suicide out of remorse and sadness from the memories. Alexander arranges a funeral for his grandfather, and Jonathan returns to America.  |
