Attention Duelists! I just got back from Nekocon X and got a few minutes to throw up a post or two about the overall goings ons about the con. After meeting Kroze and Dix and getting a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, I thought I'd share my experience.
Friday began pretty uneventfully until I met Kroze and found out that he and Dix had come to Nekocon for Overclocked Remix. Now, I knew about this and it was cool to see him there, but then I noticed the banner on the front of the table:
"Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Abridged Series"
I nearly peed my pants.
Around here, the YGO:TAS mods are nothing short of legends. So I talked to them for a while and tried not to fanboy all over them. Kroze quickly noticed I was cosplaying as Kaiba and mentioned the viewing on Saturday night, and after a little more talking, he eventually offered me the aforementioned chance: he asked me to help them with the panel. After a bit of deliberation among the three of us, I agreed to help introduce the panel as Kaiba. After a short intro, I screwed the rules because we had the abridged series and sat down to the most awesome hour and a half of the con.
