Go to My Blog Video Game Music (10 comments, posted 2 weeks ago by Pianimae21) Alright this is the last blog for a while. I remember making a thread about this before the time skip..... yeah... So anyway since then I have found the motherload of vg music suites and such and though, "well why don't I just make a new blog about it?" I don't much feel like p;osting ALL those links but I'll give my favorites right now: www.vgmusic.com This was the first for me, and I still have about 90 midi's from this site that I listen to now. I managed to convert them to mp3s (yay better quality!) not that I did it for the quality I love vgmusic so much. Managed to find a bunch of midi's that sounded better than the originals anyway (older games like snes and genesis) while some were exact (N64) or at least close (PS2, dreamcast). You just have to find the ones with the highest bytes is all. It's pretty rewarding. By the time I found the real OST's for DKC2 I already had midi's that outdone them. gh.ffshrine.org This place is amazing. It has so many OST's for video games AND anime music! The problem is that it lives on donations, so be sure to help out the best place to get your favorite soundtracks. www.ocremix.org If you don't know already, this place is the oldest and most popular vg remix site on the net. I can't get enough, but it took the help of a litter site I love just as much to help me broaden my ear a bit... http://ormgas.rainwave.cc/ Thisd place was a hell of a pain in the neck to join and get to work, but it was worth it. I had to create two accounts, get a new email address, download a new media player all to get this damn site to work. It's a long story... just know that I'm Anima21 on there... and Pianimae21 hasn't confirmed his email yet. Anyway listen to all the awesome music from ocremix on there. You can vote on songs, rate them and even request a song play... although if you want a certain song to play so bad why not just play it yourself? www.sound-test.org This place has more stuff that other places might not have. It's worth a look just for the heck of it. Just don't pay attention to the updates, they don't ever seem to make sense. Last I checked there were new features being added so maybe things are improving... okay that's all I can give off the top of my head... DISCUSS
